Yelp is giving its users a list of the best cheap eats in every state, and Alabama’s entry is in Tuscaloosa.

Antojitos Izcalli, a Mexican restaurant at 623 Hargrove Rd. E., took the honors.

To compile the list, Yelp identified restaurants that are listed as $, then ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews.

Yelp reviewers called Antojitos Izcalli “straight fire,” “authentic and amazing,” and “fantastic.” The restaurant secured a 4.9 out of 5, with 167 reviews.

“Great authentic Mexican food,” wrote Alex M. of Birmingham. “Really nice employees. Menu is simple but it’s got everything you need for a solid dining experience.”

Popular dishes, according to Yelp, include street tacos, carne asada and huaraches.
